These fabrics pose two challenges: natural fabrics tend to be more delicate, and white fabrics are susceptible to water marks and browning. Because of this, white, natural fabrics require a different approach. We don’t use a hot water extraction clean on these, to avoid browning. Instead, we use dry cleaning solutions to lift stains without the use of water. It is harder to achieve perfect results with this method, but it is necessary to avoid damaging your upholstery.
Please note - The cleaning of natural fabrics such as cotton and linen can be more time consuming and chemical intensive than cleaning synthetic fabrics, hence an additional charge of up to $10 per seating position may apply for natural fabrics.
Patterned fabrics tend to be more processed and durable, so we can use a hot water extraction clean. There is still a risk of watermarking though, as well as dye migration from the patterns. To avoid these risks, we prepare the fabric with a pre-spray that stabilises the colours and prevents bleeding. Then we finish with a hot water extraction clean, removing dirt and stains.

These fabrics are at little risk for watermarks or colour bleeding. We still use dry clean solutions to break up stains, and then rinse out the couch with a hot water extraction clean.
