Our exclusive exothermic carpet dry cleaning system removes more stains than any other cleaning process.
The solvent-based products used in our process allows for deep cleaning without the chemical residue.
We make carpets look and feel like new by restoring the original chemical balance of carpets.
The unique Electrodry carpet dry cleaning system prevents wet carpet smell, emitting just a light lemon scent.
We avoid harsh heat and too much water to ensure that carpets will not shrink or stretch during cleaning.
A thorough pre-vacuum routine is designed to remove dry soils and debris from the carpet prior to cleaning.
Electro-Shield™ is a long acting sanitiser that kills 99.9% of bacteria along with a broad range of germs and other nasties.
Unlike other sanitising agents, that lose effectiveness within seconds or minutes of application, Electro-Shield™ will keep sanitising your carpet for up to 4 months, until it is worn away with regular wear.
Will it work against viruses? Independent laboratory testing revealed a 99.94% anti-viral effectivity rate, in accordance with ISO 18184, an international testing standard. A copy of the test certificate and further information about Electro-Shield’s effectiveness on viruses can be found on the Electro-Shield page.
In July 2020, testing independently undertaken at the University of Melbourne Department of Microbiology and Immunology laboratory showed Healthguard® AMIC (the active ingredient in Electro-Shield) to be effective at destroying Human Strain SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) on textiles. You can read more about the testing here.
This recently released product will be used during your next carpet or upholstery clean at no additional charge by the Electrodry Melbourne team from April 2020. Read more about Electro-Shield here.

HOW CARPET DRY CLEANING DIFFERS FROM STEAM CLEANING
NO CHEMICAL RESIDUE
USES 90% LESS WATER
BREAKS UP OILY STAINS
There are two main types of carpet cleaning systems; steam cleaning and dry cleaning. Steam cleaning requires injecting large amounts of water into the carpet under high pressure and then sucking the water back out with a vacuum. Dry cleaning uses dry cleaning solutions to break down the oily residues in the carpet, releasing the dirt and stains so that they can be easily removed.
Both carpet cleaning systems can achieve great results, but can also come with pitfalls.
Electrodry uses specialised cleaning solutions that combine acidic and alkaline cleaning solutions to create heat and break up oily stains while releasing dirt from the fibres. Dirt and stains are lifted through this exothermic, or heat creating, cleaning process to leave a superbly cleaned carpet without a chemical residue. Best of all NO WET CARPETS!
ELECTRODRY CARPET DRY CLEANING RESULTS
Keeping your carpets clean can easily double the life of your carpet and save you thousands of dollars in carpet replacement. This is because excessive soiling can cause carpet fibres to fade and lose their lustre. Dry debris can also wear carpets faster as they are crushed against the fibres when stepped on. More importantly, a dirty carpet will breed germs, mould, fungi and bacteria, exposing you and your family to health-related risks.
Frequent vacuuming and spot removal can only do so much. You will need the help of professional cleaners at least once a year to keep your carpets clean, fresh and healthy. But be careful though, as not all carpet cleaning methods are created equal. Conventional steam cleaning may be the default carpet cleaning choice, but that does not mean it is the best.
Electrodry revolutionised carpet dry cleaning technology by offering comparative cleaning results to the best steam cleaning methods but using far less water and leaving no chemical residue behind. We deliver the best possible clean without the inconvenient downtime of wet carpets. Electrodry's carpet dry cleaning system can remove more stains, without the nasty residue and carpets that are walk on dry in just one hour.
