Our system employs both dry clean technology and hot water extraction, for ultimate cleaning power! Oils in your carpet, either from spills or body oils, are often what causes staining. Oils and grease attract dirt and bind it powerfully to the carpet fibres, creating a stain that is difficult to remove. Not only that, but these kinds of stains sometimes come back after cleaning them, if the dirt is removed but oil is left in the carpet. That’s why we use powerful dry cleaning solutions to dissolve oils, releasing the dirt as well. This means that when we do the hot water extraction clean, dirt and stains are easily removed, leaving your sofa or dining chairs fresh and clean.
We vacuum the upholstery. This removes dirt, and also prevents it turning into mud in the wetter stages of the clean.

We perform a hot water extraction clean. This involves rinsing the couch with hot, pressurised water, and then extracting it out again with a powerful vacuum. This step removes dirt, contaminants, and washes out the stains.

We know that not all couches are the same. This is especially true when it comes to cleaning, as upholstered fabrics can vary greatly, and some are more delicate and fragile than others. Electrodry believe in using the right method and products for the job. Here’s our system:
These fabrics can be quite delicate, and as such require a delicate approach. Because of their light colour, we don’t perform a hot water extraction on these fabrics, as there is a significant risk of watermarks. Instead, we apply dry cleaning solutions to stains, and clean natural fabrics by hand. It is more difficult to achieve perfect results with this method, but it necessary to avoid damaging your lounge.

These fabrics tend to be hardier, and we are able to perform a hot water extraction. But to avoid the risk of dye migration or watermarks, we stabilise colours with a pre-spray, as well as using dry cleaning solutions to loosen stains. Then we use a hot water extraction to rinse it all out.
