Electrodry uses a unique 4-step cleaning process that begins with a pre-vacuum of your carpets using an industrial-strength HEPA filter vacuum. The second step includes the pre-treatment of stains with specialised dry-cleaning solutions and stain-removal products. Once the carpets have been pre-treated for stains, the third step involves using our exclusive dry cleaning technology to extract dirt and stains while rejuvenating your carpet in the process. The final step is grooming your carpets to reset the pile and to also help with the drying process, which will leave your carpets looking like brand new!
Whether the stain is from tomato sauce, marinara sauce, or everyone’s favourite, bolognese sauce, tomato sauce stains can be tricky to remove as tomatoes are tannin based. Tannin is a colour-causing, natural compound found in certain fruits and vegetables, including red wine and also tea. Like most tannin stains, you can try to remove tomato sauce stains using products you likely already have in your cupboards. However, if you aren’t successful, the professional carpet cleaning experts at Electrodry can help.
At Electrodry, we normally use spot-cleaning methods on most stains to make them easier to remove during the dry cleaning process. Although we're confident in our ability to remove tomato sauce stains, there are some instances where we cannot guarantee stain removal. Things such as the type and age of the carpet will affect how easy it will be to clean the carpet and whether the tomato sauce stain can be successfully removed.
We can only move beds and lounges/sofas from side to side if they are on wheels or casters. Anything heavy such as wall units you can leave in its place and we’ll work around them. We just ask that you move smaller items such as chairs, coffee tables or pot plants. It is especially important to remove things such as toys, books and stationery, coins or any other small objects that may get sucked up during the vacuuming process. Your carpet cleaning technician will have a limited timeframe to work on your carpet so clearing up any mess or small objects beforehand keeps things moving.
You are able to pay using your debit or credit card. Our technicians are all equipped with EFTPOS machines and will accept payments on the day your carpet is cleaned. As a matter of fact, we prefer cashless transactions for the convenience of all parties. We will send a receipt for the job via email once payment is received.
