At Electrodry we think that dry cleaning is the best way of removing dirt and stains from carpet, without leaving your carpet full of litres of water. Our dry cleaning system has two main steps. First we break down the stains using superior stain removal technology, and then we bring out the dry clean machine. This machine works similarly to a floor polisher: cotton pads soaked in our conditioning rinse are rotated in circles on the carpet, lifting stains and dirt, and sanitising the carpet.
This whole process uses little moisture, meaning your carpet is left dry and clean. In contrast, steam cleaning works by injecting litres and litres of heated water into the carpet, and then sucking it out again. Unfortunately, this can leave a lot of water in the carpet, leading to long drying times, and the potential for bacteria growth.
