The first step to a successful mattress cleaning process is a thorough pre-inspection. Your technician will discuss this process with you and describe the expected outcome.
We start the mattress cleaning process with an industrial pre-vacuuming. With the help of our industrial-strength Kirby vacuum and HEPA filter, we lift away loose dirt, dust and dead skin that acts as food for dust mites.
Through our solvent-based dry cleaning solution, we remove the toughest dirt and grime from your mattress. We do this by breaking down body oils and sweat without using excessive moisture in the process.
Our mattress cleaning process includes a Contaminant Detection and Treatment specifically formulated and tested to disinfect your mattress against bacteria from urine. Your technician will do this by injecting an enzyme-based product into the site of contamination to break down the urine’s uric salts. The enzyme will be extracted and rinsed out through our hot water extraction equipment.
We apply our Mattress Intensive Stain Treatment (MIST) and let it sit for 15 minutes. This will dissolve stubborn stains, leaving your mattress in perfect condition.

***The New Mattress Cleaning Service is effective on areas of contamination up to the size of a dinner plate. If the contaminated area is greater than the size of a dinner plate, then the contamination may be too significant for effective decontamination and replacing the mattress may be the best course of action. Unfortunately, not all stains of this size can be removed because they will have penetrated too deep into the mattress fibres for our cleaning solution to be effective. For your health, we recommend replacing the mattress.

Baking soda absorbs moisture and neutralises odours. When applied to a mattress, it can help to absorb any moisture or odours present in the fabric, which can help to freshen and clean the mattress.
For deep cleaning, keep baking soda on the mattress for at least 24 hours. For regular cleaning and deodorising, 30 minutes to an hour is sufficient.
