We carry a wide range of products to treat urine stains, however, we can't guarantee removal. When your technician arrives, he'll be able to give you a better idea of the results we can achieve and the likely cost. What we'll do is detect the contaminated area using a urine detector then we'll inject a product into the underlay to eliminate germs and nasties to stop the smell. We then treat the carpet surface to kill the bacteria and replace the odour with a vanilla or lavender scent. This is one of the most effective methods possible but there can be no guarantee we can completely remove the odour.
The main difference between dry and steam cleaning is the amount of water used. Typically, steam cleaning uses between 10-50 litres, depending on room size. This results in wet carpets that could take up to 24 hours to dry, making your carpet vulnerable to germs and bacteria.
