Carpet steam cleaning, technically referred to as “hot water extraction” cleaning, injects large amounts of water into the carpet, then sucks that water back out with the dirt and grime. Depending on the quality of the equipment used and the amount of time take by the technician to prepare the carpet and extract the water, the results from steam cleaning can be good, but the carpet will take between 8 and 48 hours to dry, and sometimes longer.
Electrodry’s carpet dry cleaning process uses proprietary dry-cleaning solutions to break down the grease and oily soils in the carpet, releasing the dirt for easy removal. This means we can remove stains than other carpet cleaning systems and still leave your carpet walk-on dry at the end of the job.
