ELECTRODRY'S COMMITMENT TO QUALITYDry cleaning cleans your carpet - dryly. When we dry clean your carpet, the carpet will be dry enough to walk on straight away, and fully dry within an hour. This is because we use dry cleaning solutions to break down stains, in the same way that the dry cleaner cleans your clothes. These solutions mean we only need around 2 litres of liquid per room of carpet. Compare that with steam cleaning. This method works by pumping 10 to 50 litres of pressurised water into each room of carpet. The heat, the water and the pressure are what does the stain removal work. The water is then sucked back out, along with the dirt. But with that much water, it’s inevitable that the carpet is left quite wet. With a steam clean, carpets take a solid 4-6 hours to dry, or much longer in some conditions.
