ELECTRODRY'S COMMITMENT TO QUALITYSteam cleaning is the generic name for a carpet cleaning system called hot water extraction cleaning. Your steam cleaner will inject between 20 and 50 litres of water per room into your carpet under high pressure and try to vacuum that water back out. While steam cleaning can be an effective, your carpet will take between 6 and 48 hours to dry depending on the weather and the amount of time your technician take to extract the water from your carpet.
Electrodry uses dry cleaning solutions in the cleaning process to break down the oily build up in your carpet and release the dirt. Your carpet will be “walk-on” dry when we finish the job and totally dry in an hour or 2.
Steve Fitzpatrick established the Electrodry Blue Mountains operation over 30 years ago, working from his office in Leura. A member of the Electrodry family for over 20 years, Steve established a reputation for incredible workmanship and a close eye for detail that customer around the Katoomba, Blue Mountain’s area remind us of to this day. Many of our older customers recall Steve driving a van with wings sticking up the side of the van. The kids used to call those vans the “bat mobile”, and while our vans have changed a bit, our focus on work quality and professionalism is as strong as ever. Electrodry is Katoomba and the Blue Mountains' first carpet dry cleaning service. While we’re best known for our carpet dry cleaning service, Electrodry has also become the go-to service for lounge and sofa cleaning as our dry-cleaning solutions allow us to safely clean the most delicate of fabrics.
