HOW CARPET DRY CLEANING DIFFERS FROM STEAM CLEANING
The main difference between Electrodry’s dry cleaning method and conventional steam cleaning is the quantity of water used. The steam cleaning, or hot water extraction method involves spraying the carpet with a cleaner, and then injecting a large amount of hot, pressurised water into the carpet. The water is the extracted out. This method uses 10 to 50 litres of water per room, and leaves the carpets with a 4-6 hour dry time.

Introduced by Paul Burchell in 1983, dry carpet cleaning quickly took off, and is now known as the most reliable carpet cleaning method on the market. Electrodry’s system uses dry cleaning solutions to break down dirt and grease, and then removes stains in a conditioning rinse.
