Franchise Success Stories
Simon Proctor is a carpet layer by trade and hails from England. When he first moved to Australia, he got a job as a carpet cleaning technician with Electrodry and worked for us for three years.
Eventually Simon married a Perth girl and, in 2012, bought an Electrodry franchise in the Perth area. He saw this as a new challenge and an opportunity to build a business that would support his growing family.
Simon is 36, has a 2-year-old boy and a little girl on the way in October of this year. He loves having the freedom of being his own boss which allows him to schedule time for his family life, surfing and to work on his 12 handicap in golf.
Simon says that the Electrodry Business System really works and that he is well supported with excellent advertising and a great booking system. He has every intention of renewing his franchise and carrying on with the company.
Business is good and Simon feels as if he has a bright future ahead of him.
Michael Nicholas probably seems familiar to most Electrodry customers. This is because he has been the face of Electrodry, featuring in print and television advertisements for many years.
But Micheal is not just a pretty face! He's also the Newcastle West franchisee of Electrodry Carpet Dry Cleaning, and has been since 2006.
Previously a publican who became disenchanted with his work, Michael now enjoys what he does because each day is different. Being a franchisee has allowed Michael the freedom to work for himself and by himself, which gives him peace of mind.
Business is good and he would encourage younger people looking for the next challenge in their lives to consider becoming a franchisee.
Michael’s Labrador, Adam, is his constant companion and has been known to go to work with him. Michael rescued Adam at eight months old and now, at 13, this quiet, likeable dog is part of the Electrodry family.
